What is a pulley?

The belt pulley is a kind of hub parts, generally the relative size is relatively large, and the manufacturing process is mainly casting and forging. Generally, the larger size is designed by casting method, and the material is generally cast iron (good casting performance), and cast steel is rarely used (poor casting performance of steel); generally, the smaller size can be designed by forging, and the material is steel.Pulley is mainly used for long-distance transmission of power, such as small diesel power output, agricultural vehicles, tractors, automobiles, mining machinery, mechanical processing equipment, textile machinery, packaging machinery, lathe, forging machine, some small horsepower motorcycle power transmission, agricultural machinery power transmission, air compressor, reducer, reducer, generator, gin and so on.

Pulley Specification

The specification of V-belt is divided by the back width (top width) and height (thickness). According to different back width (top width) and height (thickness), the national standard stipulates the o-width of V-belt A, B, C, D, e and other models, each type of V-belt has different section width, top width and height, so the belt pulley must make various groove types according to the shape of V-belt; these different groove types determine the O-type belt pulley, A-type belt pulley, B-type belt pulley, C-type belt pulley, D-type belt pulley, E-type belt pulley and other models of belt pulley.

Pulley Model

According to the national standard, there are seven types of V-belts: O, a, B, C, D, e and F.

The models of V-belts are: ordinary o a B C D E 3V 5V 8V, ordinary reinforced ax BX CX DX ex 3vx 5vx 8vx, narrow V-belt SPZ spa SPB SPC, strong narrow V-belt XPA XPB XPC: each model of V-belt specifies the section size of V-belt. The section size of A-type V-belt is: top width 13mm, C-type V-belt is: top width 22mm, thickness 13.5mm; the section size of D-type V-belt is: top width 21.5mm, thickness 19mm; the section size of e-type V-belt is: top width 38mm, thickness 25.5mm. Corresponding dimensions (width * height): O (10 * 6), a (12.5 * 9), B (16.5 * 11), C (22 * 14), D (21.5 * 19), e (38 * 25.5).

1. Loosen all bolts, take out one or two bolts according to the number of holes, lubricate the bolt pattern and bolt tip with oil, and insert the bolts into the holes.

1. Check the pulley groove to ensure that there is no scar or sharp edge, and all dimensions meet the standard;

2. Clean the surface of all parts, such as hub hole, taper sleeve, bolt hole, etc. Fit the taper into the pulley so that all the screw holes are aligned.

3. Oil the screw (TB 1008-tb 3030) and thread (TB 3525-tb 5050) and screw them into the installation hole, but do not screw them tight temporarily.

4. Clean the surface of the transmission shaft, push the pulley with taper sleeve to the predetermined position on the shaft, and check whether the V-belt pulley is aligned.

5. When using the keyway, it must be inserted into the hub first, and there must be a certain tolerance between the keyway and the hub.

6. Use the hexagon wrench conforming to din911 standard to tighten the bolts of each mounting hole alternately and gradually until the torque shown in the table below is reached.

7. After a short period of operation (0.5 to 1 hour), check the tightening torque of the bolts and retighten if necessary.

8. In order to prevent the invasion of foreign matters, fill the connecting hole of the hole with grease.

Triangle drive belt, also known as V-belt, is a product with the largest output, the largest variety and the widest use.
